The Meijer family has been active in the potato sector for more than a century. When Kees Meijer Sr entered the potato trade in 1920, he created a livelihood to support his family. Today, his enterprising spirit and focus on the potential of the potato continue to be the foundation for Meijer Potato.

Meijer Potato supports school garden with a social function
School gardening is important to create awareness about food, health, and nature in a fun way. We annually deliver seed potatoes to schools. A wonderful example is the collaboration between Primary School De Wending in Roosendaal and Heerma State, a care center for people with dementia.
